On 28/6/2018 the Disability Inclusion Act 2018 was proclaimed. The Act requires the integration of people with a disability into mainstream society. In order to achieve this, organisations will need to assess their cultural fitness in terms of Access and Inclusion. There are currently Commonwealth government funded resources available to assist organisations to become disability friendly.
